The MIGenWeb project has been working together since 1996 to collect data and get it online. If you own or have access to sources for any Mackinac county in Michigan records (birth records, marriage records, tax records, cemetery records, biographical information, county or city histories, etc.) volunteer to index or type up information to make available to other researchers interested in the people and history of Mackinac County. Data that is contributed to this site is always copyrighted to the contributor and they are noted on the pages of the records they submit. It is only used on this site, unless you want it archived and ask to have that done. If at any time you want to withdraw your data, I will take it off the site.

One of the benefits of contributing data is help from other researchers in your area of interest and/or your personal family research. Create sets of data to get online and get not only the satisfaction of being published, and of helping others, but also get the benefit of interaction with others.
