Certificate of Merchants

The undersigned being assembled at the house of Mr. W. Gulpin*, in consequence of a notice from Captain McNamara, declaring that have never suffered any tyranny, oppression nor restraint in business since the Lieut. Governor has commanded this post.

Given at Michilimackinac this 22nd of August 1780.
